Reimbursement for treatment through municipality or region
You can get a subsidy from the municipality for your dental treatment of up to DKK 10,000 if you belong to one of the groups covered by the subsidy scheme.
Who is eligible for dental treatment subsidies?
If you are a Danish citizen over the age of 18 with a yellow health card and you belong to one of the groups below, you can apply for a subsidy for emergency, preventive or therapeutic dental care. The amount of the subsidy depends on which group you belong to and the type of treatment.
There is a ceiling on the maximum price of all treatments and examinations.
Certain vulnerable groups have a special right to financial dental care according to legislation, including the Active Social Policy Act (§82), the Pension Act (§14) and the Health Act (65§).

How do you apply for a grant?
The procedure can be broken down into a few points:

If you have Sjôgren's syndrome or have received chemotherapy or radiotherapy in connection with cancer treatment, you can apply for reimbursement through the region. The application is prepared jointly by you and PLUS1. - Wait for an answer
It is important that you do not start a course of treatment before you have an answer from the municipality. This will help you avoid unforeseen costs if the municipality rejects your application.
